
Job Description
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Head Chef to join restaurant in Milton Keynes, starting ASAP.
Shift Pattern: 40 hours weekly
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Key responsibilities:
Ensure food hygiene and safety standards are always maintained in your section.
Support and coach junior kitchen staff, making sure food is correctly stored, rotated, and handled.
Contribute ideas to menu planning and seasonal changes.
Prepare and cook fresh dishes to a consistently high level.
Manage stock and portion sizes to keep food margins on target.
Check, store, and rotate deliveries effectively.
Follow all health & safety regulations during food prep and service.
What we’re looking for:
At least 2 years’ experience working in a busy professional kitchen.
Food Safety in Catering Level 2 (or equivalent qualification).
Calm, organised, and able to perform well under pressure.
Self-motivated with the confidence to work independently.
A real passion for fresh food and a desire to progress.
A team player who can give and receive constructive feedback.
