Job Description

We currently have a Sous Chef position available in a Restaurant/ Gastro Pub in central Cambridge starting ASAP.

The restaurant serves seasonal modern British food in relaxed surroundings and wonderful roast dinners on Sunday lunchtimes.

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, mixed times

Salary: £32,000 + MONTHLY TIPS + BONUS'S = £40,000 approx.

Monthly Tips: Sous Chefs will average £4000 - £6000 a year in tips.

Job Description:

  • Cooking of the food, following the set menu's as Sous Chef

  • Assisting the Head Chef when required

  • Hardworking, enthusiastic, clean + organised

  • Keeping your station clean and tidy

Required/Preferred Skills:

  • Sous Chef experience Excellent attendance and reliability

  • Working within a team

  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
